- 3CX is a Windows phone system application that replaces everything a traditional hardware PBX or PABX does, and more.
There's no separate phone wiring for the extensions - phones use the computer network, or you can use the included softphone client - and you can select numbers to be dialled straight from Outlook or other desktop apps using TAPI at no extra charge.
3CX will receive and make calls via the standard Telecom network using VoIP Gateways or cards for maximum call quality, or you can save on monthly call costs using SIP trunks, VoIP providers or even a Skype gateway (Skype subscription charges apply).
Licenced by the number of simultaneous calls (SC) required, covering unlimited users. Includes 12 months of product updates and upgrades. Maintenance must be renewed within 90 days of expiry, afterwards a new license must be purchased.
