- Adds OCR routing support for all versions of FaxMaker for routing and searching.
A fax can then be routed to the correct user by recognising the text on the fax (OCR), and finding keywords related to a recipient, for example a first name, last name or job function. If GFI FaxMaker cannot match a recipient, it will route the fax to the default recipient/router. Faxes that need to be routed must be typewritten. The publisher estimates that OCR routing will achieve approximately 70% accuracy. The OCR feature also means that if you plan to archive all faxes, it makes searching for a particular fax much easier.
This is a subscription and must be renewed to continue using the product.
